This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live took place from Seattle, and as we all know, the Seattle fans love Daniel Bryan. The SmackDown Live General Manager kicked off the show this week, and the fans in attendance went absolutely crazy for him.
Bryan has said in the past that he has a tough time listening to the reaction from the fans knowing that he can’t wrestle inside a WWE ring anymore, and he was clearly feeling the love from the crowd on Tuesday night.
During the opening segment, Daniel Bryan spoke to Sami Zayn, and Sami took a shot at Bryan by saying, “I’m still an in-ring performer, you’re not anymore.”
Of course Bryan isn’t an in-ring performer at the moment, but he hasn’t been shy about letting the world know that he’s considering returning to the ring in September of 2018.
Daniel Bryan has now given fans yet another indication that a return to the ring may be in his future after WWE Creative Humor tweeted the following:
“I’m still an in-ring performer. @WWEDanielBryan, you’re not anymore…until September” – Sami Zayn #SDLive”
Bryan responded by saying that some things are better left unsaid.
Daniel Bryan may not be allowed to wrestle in WWE anymore, but he’s been teasing that he wants to do a Hair vs. Hair match in Mexico, and he also has an open invitation to return to Ring of Honor.
One thing’s for sure, it will be very interesting to see what the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion does in September.
