Daniel Bryan is the current WWE Champion, and he recently debuted an eco-friendly WWE Title belt on SmackDown Live.
Now that Daniel Bryan is the WWE Champion, it’s easy to forget that this time last year he was still retired from in-ring competition, and it was almost three years ago that he was forced to retire.
Daniel Bryan delivered his retirement speech in his home state of Washington, and on Tuesday he celebrated a huge milestone in his career when he returned to Washington as the WWE Champion.
Bryan will be putting his title on the line inside the Elimination Chamber on Sunday, February 17 when he defends against AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, Mustafa Ali and Samoa Joe.
February 8, 2016 I was forced to retire in my home state of Washington, told I’d never wrestle again. Feb 5, 2019, almost three years to the day, I return home as WWE Champion. #FightForYourDreams
