After Brock Lesnar dropped the Universal Title to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, it was expected that he would be taking time away from wrestling to focus on MMA, but at Crown Jewel he won the title once again when he defeated Braun Strowman.
It’s been reported that Lesnar will be working with WWE through WrestleMania 35, and Dana White recently told the media that nothing is set in stone for Brock’s potential return to UFC.
“Yeah, I dunno. One of the guys I met with during PR told me that he had heard Brock Lesnar signed a bunch of new WWE deals.”
White also confirmed that Brock’s deal with WWE does not prevent him from fighting in UFC.
He added that he’s not focused on Brock Lesnar right now, but if he needs to he can pick up the phone and call him.
Dana went on to say that Daniel Cormier is hurt at the moment, so he’s not sure what the future holds for a potential Cormier vs. Lesnar fight. However, White did note that when Cormier gets better and they start talking about dates when he might return for another fight, then he will call Brock Lesnar.
