The Ultimate Warrior was a legend in the professional wrestling industry and his legacy continues to this day. His awfully timed passing was mere days after his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame and only one day after he said, “No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own. Every man’s heart one day beats its final beat, his lungs breathe their final breath. And, if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them believe deeper in something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized.”
The Ultimate Warrior’s legacy will run deep in the WWE Universe throughout the world until the end of time and his daughters will carry on his spirit. Now, his late-wife Dana Warrior has even more of a reason to continue that legacy as she has come to terms on a new deal with WWE that will see her work as a brand ambassador.
Dana said on her website today that the relationship between herself and WWE was a slow build, but it was meaningful. Her mission is to preserve her husband’s legacy and make sure that his Warriors throughout the world will continue his inspirational brand.
She went on to say that she is honored to be woven into the WWE tapestry in such a way and the next phase of her relationship with WWE will champion the women who are emerging in predominant executive, athletic, and business positions.
WWE has a history of taking care of the families of their superstars that gave so much for the business. From the Guerreros to the Foleys, the Warrior family is another example that is very deserving of a similar relationship with the company.
