Dana Brooke Opens Up About Her Relationship With Batista, Why They’re Not Dating

Dana Brooke has been on a roll over the last few weeks, as she seems determined to make a name for herself in the WWE women’s tag team division alongside her partner Mandy Rose.

Last year Brooke became a hot topic in the world of professional wrestling after she publicly flirted with former WWE Champion Dave Bautista on Twitter, and fans were left to wonder what became of their exchange.

During a recent interview with Forbes, Dana Brooke noted that her and The Animal went out, but due to their schedules they couldn’t make it work. Brooke is currently in a relationship with pro boxer Ulysses “Uly” Diaz, but she says that she is still friends with Batista.

“We went out, we were great, great, great friends, we’ve been to the Meat Market down in Tampa, we go to [Edison], also in Tampa, so we kept in great contact. There’s always been interest between Dave and I as far as friendships and everything. We share a lot in common as far as being in the business and outside, and being very passionate about giving back and charity work as well.”

“It’s just with my schedule being so so busy, and Dave doing a lot of movies, our times are very limited. But we still communicate, we still talk on a regular basis, my boyfriend now [Uly Diaz] and him also have a lot in common as far as the fight game goes.”

It was announced earlier this year that Dave Bautista was set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the 2020 class. Unfortunately the induction ceremony was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and there’s currently no word on when it will take place.
