Over the last few years fans have seen various celebrities step into the ring such as Johnny Knoxvville, Logan Paul and of course Bad Bunny. At WrestleMania 37, Bad Bunny teamed up with Damian Priest and they managed to defeat The Miz and John Morrison on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
There was a lot of speculation regarding how Bad Bunny would perform at WrestleMania, but once it was all said and done he received a lot of praise for his work inside the ring.
In a recent video that was posted to WWE’s TikTok account Damian Priest recalled his reaction to finding out he was going to work with Bad Bunny, and he noted that he initially thought WWE named a wrestler Bad Bunny.
“I remember when they asked me and they’re like, ‘So we’re going to pair you with Bad Bunny.’ And in my head I was like, you named a wrestler Bad Bunny? And then Hunter was like, ‘No, like the artist Bad Bunny!’ I was like ‘Oh, yeah, that makes sense.’”
At this point it’s not clear when Bad Bunny could appear on WWE programming again, but following his in-ring debut at WrestleMania last year it’s expected that he’ll be back at some point. Stay tuned for updates.
