Damian Priest On Why He Hasn’t Cashed In His Money In the Bank Contract

Everyone knows that a Money in the Bank win can make a wrestler’s career and last year it was Damian Priest who won the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Currently Priest is still holding the contract as he has yet to cash in.

Damian Priest’s contract has been a hot topic among fans who are wondering when he’s going to cash in. Recently he reminded everyone that he’s still got several months before his title shot expires during an appearance on The Babyfaces Podcast.

“Just waiting and seeing. I’ve got until July. I’m good. It doesn’t expire at WrestleMania. I think a lot of people get confused with that because it used to be at WrestleMania. But I have till July so … man, I’m chilling. We’re fine. It’s gonna happen … I see the stuff online where people aren’t sure if I’m gonna cash in, is it gonna be successful and championship material.

When it happens, I’m gonna shut everybody up. I’m not gonna let everybody know when, because that would be silly. But it’ll happen and it’s gonna happen big so, I’m looking forward to that day and kind of shutting a lot of people up.”

Roman Reigns is currently set to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania while Seth Rollins will be defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. We’ll just have to wait and see who Damian Priest sets his sights on once the big show is over.
