Since All Elite Wrestling was officially announced in January of 2019 several former WWE Superstars have jumped to the company, and everyone’s waiting to see who might end up working with AEW in the future.
Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler was recently asked by a fan on Twitter when he’ll be making the jump to AEW, and he joked that he’ll be working with the company in 2025.
Dolph Ziggler noted last year during an interview that he was working on a “handshake agreement” with WWE, but depending on how seriously you want to take his joke the reference to 2025 could be an indication that he’s currently under a multi-year deal with the company.
“Technically, I am, yes. It’s weird because for the last two years I’ve had somewhat of a handshake agreement, kind of behind closed doors deal with WWE. I’ve been able to do a lot of things, on my own, not at WWE, just because of the relationship we’ve had for the last 14 years. I have a bit of a handshake agreement right now, but we’ll know some more details in the coming months.”
