Over the last few years fans have seen a number of NXT stars get new names after getting called up to the WWE main roster, and it’s no big secret that Vince McMahon liked one word names.
Last year Angel Garza and Humberto Carillo had their names shorted to Angel and Humberto when they came together to form the Los Lotharios tag team. However, it seems that Angel Garza is interested in getting his last name back on TV as he indicated with the following tweet:
Los Lotharios haven’t been featured consistently on TV as of late, but with Triple H taking over creative there’s no telling who might be pushed moving forward. Recently Dakota Kai and Karrion Kross returned to the company, so there’s been a lot of speculation on more former stars who could be brought back.
You can get more details on why names like Kevin Owens and Lacey Evans have been kept off TV here. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
