WWE has many on screen talents who appear on TV each and every week and Corey Graves has had a consistent presence on WWE programming for years now. Fans have gotten used to seeing Corey Graves at the commentary table, but it looks like he also recently took on a new backstage role as well.
Graves spoke to PopCulture.com about his current status with WWE, and he noted that he started helping talent in NXT develop their characters and it seems to be going well so far.
“I’ve recently started working with the NXT talent on helping develop characters and things of that nature, and I’ve really enjoyed it thus far. So I’m really looking forward to working with NXT a lot more as the year progresses.”
Graves has been retired from in-ring competition since 2014, but he teased a possible tag team match with Carmella when he added, “I’d like to remind everybody one more time that I have been cleared to compete and I can’t think of a better scenario for me to step back in the ring than alongside my beautiful wife.”
