It’s been a while since MVP has wrestled a match, but he recently took to social media to clarify that he has not retired from in-ring competition when he posted the following:

MVP returned to WWE in 2020 during the 30 man Royal Rumble match and he got the wrestling world talking when he wrestled another match on Raw the next night. However, he eventually ended up working as a manager for Bobby Lashley and together they formed The Hurt Business with Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin.
Ahead of WrestleMania 38 last year MVP turned on Bobby Lashley and aligned himself with Omos. MVP continued to manage Omos who faced Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39 earlier this year, but in recent months neither man has been appearing on TV regularly.
