There are several WWE stars who have managed to successfully make the jump to the acting world and in recent years fans have seen major names like The Rock, John Cena and Batista appear in big budget films. You never know who might be the next WWE star to break into Hollywood as some talents seek to branch out.
Fightful Select reports that Damian Priest, real Luis Martinez, was asked to read for a major role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. According to the report the former United States Champion was asked to read for the role of Namor.
An inquiry was made, but it has not been confirmed if the reading actually took place. One way or another Priest didn’t end up in the film as the role was played by Tenoch Huerta.
In recent months Damian Priest has been getting consistent TV time on WWE programming as a member of The Judgment Day. For some time now The Judgment Day have been feuding with The O.C. and AJ Styles is currently set to go one on one with Finn Balor at Survivor Series: WarGames on Saturday, November 26.
