CM Punk finally returned to professional wrestling in August of 2021 when he joined AEW, but his run with AEW officially came to an end when his contract was terminated back in September of this year. Punk has since returned to WWE and soon he will be wrestling inside a WWE ring for the first time in almost a decade.
At the upcoming WWE live events at Madison Square Garden and the Kia Forum, CM Punk will be facing off against Dominik Mysterio. During a recent CFFC broadcast CM Punk promoted that show at the Kia Forum and joked that he’s wanted to punch Dominik since he was 8 years old.
Dominik responded by posting a gif of CM Punk botching a springboard move along with the following caption: “Punch me like this please…”

Last week CM Punk announced that he’s entering the 2024 Royal Rumble and he also signed a contract that will make him exclusive to Monday Night Raw. As of this writing Punk is not being advertised for Raw this week.
