Roman Reigns has been one of the top stars in WWE for years now, but it appears that The Tribal Chief has entered a new phase of his career. The current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion has been working a reduced schedule and he hasn’t been making many appearances at TV tapings or live events.
Sami Zayn has been trying to get into the good graces of The Bloodline and he’s taken things one step further by making Roman Reigns’ moveset his own.
At the recent WWE live event Las Cruces, New Mexico on Saturday night Sami Zayn faced off against Drew McIntyre in a street fight. During the match Sami Zayn copied Roman’s mannerisms and he hit the Superman Punch then followed up when he speared Drew McIntyre through a table.

Unfortunately for Sami Zayn the moves weren’t enough to help him win the match as Drew McIntyre still picked up the win in the street fight.
Even though Roman Reigns hasn’t been a regular on WWE programming he will be appearing on SmackDown this week when he defends the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Riddle. It was recently announced that if Riddle doesn’t win he will no longer be able to challenge for the title while Roman is champion. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
