John Cena is without a doubt one of the biggest stars in the history of professional wrestling and he’s also made quite the name for himself in Hollywood as well. The former WWE Champion has become another successful wrestler turned actor and it seems that there are others who are hoping to follow in his footsteps.
Recently Chelsea Green spoke to Woman’s World about her acting aspirations and she revealed that she’s been auditioning for multiple roles as she seeks out new opportunities.
“I’ve been auditioning for role after role, and trying to dabble in the hosting space as well. I’m trying to start at the bottom and not cut corners. I want to do it the right way and gain respect within film and TV—not get there because I had it handed to me on a WWE silver platter.”
The former WWE Women’s United States Champion also revealed that her and her husband Matt Cardona go on double dates with John Cena and his wife every couple months.
“My husband and I go on double dates with John and Shay, every couple months, and the knowledge that comes out of him is incredible. He totally has my back and if I just continue to touch base with him, I’ll continue to get those little bits of information and advice that are so crucial when you’re on this journey of trying to figure out what you want to do next.”
Last weekend John Cena stepped into the ring for one of his final matches when he faced off against AJ Styles at Crown Jewel. Currently John Cena’s next scheduled appearance is set for Monday Night Raw in Boston on November 10th.
