WWE is always in need of good heels, but there’s no denying that sometimes a character change can take a wrestler’s career to the next level. Grayson Waller has been part of the WWE main roster for some time now and he’s made a name for himself working as a bad guy.
During a recent appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Grayson Waller discussed the possibility of him turning babyface at some point, and he explained why it’s not something he’s interested in.
“It’s possible but I don’t really want to. The one thing I hate about being a babyface is, I don’t think I’d be honest. I think you have all of these babyfaces that have to pretend they love the fans and I can’t stand the fans. I think wrestling fans are the worst fans in the world.
Not the fans who pay to come and have a good time on a Friday with the family and stuff, that’s fine. These flop fans online, these smart guys who think they know wrestling, they’re the worst. They will turn on people in an instant. It doesn’t work on me, you have no power over me because I don’t care what you say. I can do whatever I want. You hate me? Good, it doesn’t affect me.
I feel bad for the good guys who have to pretend they like these people and give them a hug and sign stuff in the airport at 3AM. I don’t have to deal with that. My main thing is, I don’t want to be a babyface because I don’t want to pretend I have to like these people, I can’t stand them.”
