A lot of wrestlers dream about making it to WWE, and there’s no denying that it takes a lot of hard work to make it to the main roster. Damian Priest has been on the main roster for a while now and fans can see him on TV every week as a member of The Judgement Day.
Dark Order member Pres10 Vance recently spoke about his experience working with Priest on Busted Open Radio while noting that Priest at one point didn’t believe he was ever going to get signed.
“I remember when I met [Damian Priest] he was … already wrestling for maybe 12 years,” Vance said. “And he told me ‘My goal is to get you signed, just so I have a piece of your career, because I know I’m never going to get signed. I’m too old.’ And now he blew up, you know?”
Damian Priest previously noted in an interview back in 2020 that he was turned down twice by WWE before the company finally signed him in 2018. It seems that things have worked out so far as Priest was featured in a high profile match with Bad Bunny at WrestleMania 37, and he’s been getting a healthy amount of TV time in recent months.
