A new era kicked off for Friday Night SmackDown during the first episode of 2025, and it kicked off in a big way. Nia Jax successfully defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Naomi during the show, but Nia’s victory celebration was short lived.
After the match was over Tiffany Stratton turned on Nia Jax and cashed in the Money in the Bank contract to become the new WWE Women’s Champion. Following her victory over Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton got custom side plates installed in the Women’s Championship, and it sounds like WWE could be making another change to the title.
According to PW Nexus there is talk of WWE possibly changing the current strap on Tiffany Stratton’s Women’s Championship belt to a pink one. The idea is that it would be similar to the custom Money in the Bank briefcase she had been carrying around for months.
