WrestleMania 41 is quickly approaching and the show is loaded with big title matches. A number of champions are set to defend their championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All, but Chelsea Green is noticeably absent from the card.
Fightful Select is reporting that current WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green is not currently planned for WrestleMania 41. When inquiring with sources in WWE creative the word was that as of late last week Green was not planned for the show.
There were some pitches for Chelsea Green to host WrestleMania, but as of this week those plans are not in place. Sources in creative noted that once the show is formatted out it’s possible that a skit or segment could be added. However, as of right now that’s not the case.
Chelsea Green last stepped into the ring during last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown when she faced off against Zelina Vega. The match came to an end when Chelsea Green was counted out which led to Vega picking up the win.
