Current Favorite To Win The 2018 WWE Royal Rumble

Now that 2017 is coming to an end, the stars of the WWE are looking ahead to the Royal Rumble in January. The event will be historic, as it’s set to feature the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match, along with the annual men’s Royal Rumble match.

Wrestling fans know that the Royal Rumble match has a big impact on WrestleMania, and everyone seems to have a favorite to win the match in 2018. WWE just recently started hyping up the match, and the current betting odds over at Paddy Power suggest a big name is the favorite to win at this point in time.

John Cena is currently the favorite to win the Royal Rumble match with odds of 9/4, followed by Roman Reigns with odds of 5/2, and Shinsuke Nakamura with odds of 11/4. Other notable names include AJ Styles with 5/1 odds and Seth Rollins with 8/1.

On the other end of the spectrum, Hulk Hogan and James Ellsworth currently have 200/1 odds of winning the Royal Rumble match while Vin Diesel is listed as having 250/1 odds.

President Donald Trump is currently sitting at 750/1 odds, with former President Barack Obama at 1000/1.

Of course it’s important to keep in mind that we’re still several weeks away from the Royal Rumble, and the odds will likely shift a few times in the weeks to come.

But, if somehow John Cena does pull off a victory in 2018, he will follow in the footsteps of Steve Austin and become only the second man in history to win three Royal Rumble matches.
