Brock Lesnar has been one of the most feared stars in the world of professional wrestling for decades now, and he’s spent years dominating the competition inside the squared circle. The Beast Incarnate got people talking the moment he started appearing on WWE programming, and Bron Breakker has had a similar buzz surrounding him in recent months.
The wrestling world has been talking a lot about Bron Breakker’s potential, and this week he managed to capture the NXT Championship when he defeated Tommaso Ciampa at NXT New Year’s Evil.
WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page discussed the title match with SK Wrestling, and he had some major praise for Breakker when he said that he’s just as believable as Brock Lesnar.
“I thought they killed it. The beginning was a bit slow but they got a long way go. That second last half of the match – the cat (Breakker) is money. He’s believable – he’s as believable as a Brock Lesnar or any of those top guys, who are wrestling shoot-a**, bad*** wrestlers. And Brock is, of course, at the top of the foodchain.”
Only time will tell if Bron Breakker will be able to reach the same heights that Brock Lesnar has throughout his career, but at 24 years old it seems that the sky is the limit for the NXT Champion.
