You never know when you might see a former WWE star debut with AEW as a number of big names have joined All Elite Wrestling over the last few years. Saraya made her debut at Grand Slam in September of 2022, but the former AEW Women’s Champion hasn’t appeared on AEW programming in months.
During her absence from AEW, Saraya has been active on social media and the former champion recently posted some familiar lyrics from the theme she used when she wrestled as Paige in WWE. The post immediately got fans talking about a potential WWE return.

Saraya originally signed with WWE in 2011 and she went on to work in FCW and eventually NXT as Paige. In 2013 she made history when she went on to become the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion. She went on to make history once again when she defeated AJ Lee to become the youngest Divas Champion during the Raw after WrestleMania 30 in 2014.
In the years that followed Paige was featured as a top star in the women’s division, but she was forced to retire after suffering a neck injury during a match at a WWE live event in December of 2017. After retiring from in-ring competition she became the SmackDown General Manager, then the manager of the Kabuki Warriors.
Paige parted ways with WWE in July of 2022 then went on to sign with AEW a few months later. Her contract with All Elite Wrestling is reportedly set to expire in September.
