Current AEW Star Reportedly Backstage At NXT This week

Tuesday night was an interesting night as Cody Rhodes made his way to NXT and he came face to face with Shawn Spears, Ethan Page and Lexis King. Rhodes got the wrestling world talking when he told the former AEW stars that it seems like they’re in a “good place.” Not only did four former AEW stars reunite at NXT on Tuesday, but a current AEW star was reportedly in the building as well.

Fightful Select is reporting that AEW talent Rebel was backstage at the NXT tapings on Tuesday, June 11. There’s currently no word on why she was at the tapings, but she has made appearances on NXT in the past.

Rebel is still under contract with All Elite Wrestling despite the fact that her last AEW appearance was in 2022. As of this writing Rebel is still featured on the official AEW roster page, and it’s being reported that she is still under contract with AEW. The current AEW star is said to be personally connected to someone in NXT.
