There’s been a lot of talk about possible AEW departures as of late and Dax Harwood has made it well known that FTR’s AEW contracts are set to expire in April. The duo haven’t been on TV as of late, but they did manage to win Tag Team Of The Year and Feud Of The Year in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter awards.
Several other AEW wrestlers such as Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley and MJF won awards as well which AEW acknowledged on their official Twitter account. However, AEW didn’t acknowledge the wins for FTR. It’s interesting to note that FTR and The Briscoes both won Feud Of The Year, but AEW’s Twitter account only mentioned The Briscoes, not FTR, when they tweeted about the award.
Dax Harwood pointed out how AEW seemingly snubbed FTR when mentioning the awards, and he also made it a point to indicate that he’s looking ahead to April when he posted, “Tell me April’s around the corner without telling me April’s around the corner.”

At this point there’s no telling what the future holds for FTR, but Dax recently posted a photo which featured paper work from WWE, then deleted the photo and posted it again with the WWE logo cropped out. It’s not known if FTR could be getting ready to make a WWE return, but the photo can be seen here.
