Enzo Amore only joined the 205 Live brand two weeks ago and it seems that he has already made a lasting impression on his new roster.
It was announced on Monday Night Raw that a fatal-five-way match to crown the number one contender for Neville’s Cruiserweight Championship would take place on 205 Live this week. It looked as though it was going to be Cedric Alexander’s night after he managed to eliminate the other three competitors with his Lumbar Check finisher, but it was Enzo that managed to combine both luck and timing to secure the victory.
The Al Capone of The Microphone will now step up to challenge Neville at No Mercy in less than three weeks time. It could be an interesting encounter since it seems that Amore has raised the profile of 205 Live over the past few weeks and a showdown with Neville was already somewhat written in the cards.
Both men are talented on the mic, so the build up to the match over the next few weeks on Raw and 205 Live will definitely help the brand to get many more eyes on their product, which is seemingly the reason Enzo was moved to the Tuesday night show to begin with.
Neville held the championship from the Royal Rumble until a few weeks ago when he lost it to Akira Tozawa only to win it back at SummerSlam. Neville will be a tough test for the Smack Talking, Sky Walking Superstar, but it will be an interesting match nonetheless.
