AEW Double or Nothing has received mostly positive reviews since the show aired in Las Vegas last month, and now all eyes are looking ahead to Fyter Fest which is set to take place from Daytona Beach on Saturday, June 29.
All Elite Wrestling and TNT both confirmed that Fyter Fest will stream for free on B/R Live, but it appears that one of AEW’s top stars won’t be appearing at the event.
After the announcement was made that the show will stream for free, Chris Jericho pulled out of the event noting that he didn’t want to be part of the “shameless pandering” that goes along with giving the show away for free.
Following Chris Jericho’s announcement, Fozzy has announced that they will not be appearing at the event. Rock musician Corey Taylor also took to Twitter to say that he has pulled out of Fyter Fest as a show of solidarity for Chris Jericho.
It is of course worth noting that Chris Jericho was not previously being advertised for the event before he “pulled out” of the show, so this appears to be Chris Jericho doing what he does best.

Was hoping it wouldn’t come to this but I’ve decided to pull out of #FyterFest because of unsafe conditions and a lack of real consideration for the talent or the fans. Standing in solidarity with @IAmJericho and I hope that this will be a reminder that we MUST be strong.
