Over the last year or so fans have seen a number of former WWE stars return to the company, and recently it’s been rumored that Velveteen Dream had been going through therapy and was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
However, Fightful recently reported that WWE has no interest in signing Patrick Clark/Velveteen Dream right now, and that he had numerous infractions, issues, and controversies during his time with the company. The report also noted that numerous talents had said they hadn’t seen Patrick Clark at the WWE Performance Center.
Now Patrick Clark himself has issued a statement of his own on the rumors as the former Velveteen Dream posted the following in an Instagram story:
“I AM NOT IN A REHABILITATION FACILITY NOR HAVE I VISITED ORLANDO FLORIDA
– THE WWE PERFORMANCE CENTER
-OR ANY WWE EVENTS OR FACILITIES
I encourage all wrestling media and platforms to highlight the women and men who put together awesome weekly television! And not waste time publishing and pushing false narratives and fake news about me! I haven’t contributed anything to your line of entertainment in YEARS!
Please do better and use your platforms to showcase the bright and prominent future that is PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING.”
