Ric Flair has been on the minds of wrestling fans all over the world for the past few days as The Nature Boy is currently dealing with health related issues. Over the weekend Ric Flair was checked into the ICU for what was described as “routine monitoring” but reports regarding Ric’s status made it clear that there was more to the 16 time World Champion’s hospital visit.
The stars of the wrestling world have been actively showing support for Ric Flair on social media over the past few days, and his friends and family are showing concern for his health after he underwent surgery.
Information regarding Ric’s current health situation has been scarce, but it was recently reported that Flair had colon surgery after he was put in a medically induced coma.
Now PWInsider is reporting that Ric Flair did indeed undergo surgery, but it wasn’t colon surgery as Gene Okerlund recently stated on social media.

Coming out of the surgery Flair is said to be dealing with a number of health related issues, and it’s said that he’s not out of the woods yet.
Charlotte Flair did thank everyone for showing support for her father through these tough times, but the family has yet to disclose what kind of surgery Ric Flair had.
On a related note, it’s not known if Charlotte will be making her scheduled appearances in New York City this weekend, as her main priority right now, and understandably so, is her father’s health.
