Concern In TNA Over Their Future With Spike TV

There are people within TNA that are worried about the potential of WWE moving to Spike TV and other Viacom networks if they don’t lock in a new deal with Comcast. The feeling is that TNA will is hoping to lock in a new deal with Spike as soon as possible as their TV deal is vital to keeping the company going.

When TNA signed their last deal with Spike, the goal between the two companies was to grow Impact Wrestling’s weekly audience to 2 million viewers and obviously that has not happened. TNA’s viewership is down compared to when they locked in that deal.

TNA’s current deal with Spike runs through Fall 2014 but they usually start negotiations about six month before.
