Not all professional wrestling fans are treated like pawns to make the company more money and turn media outlets toward them. As frustrated as WWE fans might be after watching Goldberg crush Kevin Owens at Fastlane on Sunday night, there are still viable options to get your professional wrestling fix.
Ring of Honor announced “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes will face off against “The Greatest First Generation Wrestler” Jay Lethal at ROH’s Supercard of Honor XI in Lakeland, Florida on April 1st. This is no April Fool’s joke, this is real wrestling. It won’t be a squash match, it will be real competition and a showcase of pure ability. Therefore, you can be excited because this one won’t let you down.
The card already had amazing match-ups scheduled like Frankie Kazarian vs. Christopher Daniels and Adam Cole defending his ROH World Championship against the flamboyant Dalton Castle.
But, the cherry on the top of the wrestling sundae for the night is probably the Broken Hardys defending, yes defending their ROH Tag Team Titles against The Young Bucks. The Broken Brilliance of the Hardys traveled through space and time to arrive in Manhattan to take the ROH tag belts off of the Bucks of Youth at Manhattan Mayhem last week. Since that shocking episode in the Hardy Saga we’re sure ROH’s Supercard of Honor XI will be an event worth talking about.
