Back in August, Cody Rhodes dropped the TNT Championship to Brodie Lee on an episode of AEW Dynamite, and after the match The Dark Order destroyed Cody.
The former champion hasn’t been seen since, but he did make his return to TV on this week’s episode of Dynamite.
Brodie Lee defended the TNT Championship against Orange Cassidy, and Lee ended up putting Orange Cassidy away with a lariat, and after the bell rang the lights went out.
Cody’s music hit, and Daily’s place was filled with smoke. Some time went by, but Cody Rhodes then made his entrance and he returned with black hair.
Rhodes brought the fight to The Dark Order and cleaned house to end the segment.
After the match Brodie Lee cut a promo and challenged Cody to a dog collar match. He told Cody he has one week to respond.
