All Elite Wrestling has been around for over a year now, and throughout the course of the company’s history they’ve been consistently expanding their roster.
This week AEW made two big additions to their roster when Matt Hardy and Brodie Lee debuted on Dynamite.
Cody Rhodes posted a tweet welcoming Matt Hardy to AEW, and Matt made it clear that he’s proud to be a part of the company when he responded with the following:
“Thank you. I am very honored & proud to join @AEWrestling, a company that takes great pride in listening & respecting their loyal audience.
Excited to CHANGE THE WORLD with you.”
One fan then posted a now deleted tweet criticizing AEW for signing former WWE stars, and Cody responded by saying AEW is a merit based company.
“Talent is talent. Merit based company. We have a great roster from all types of places(mainly blossoming independent stars). It’s a great balance.”
When another fan entered the conversation and said, “Great balance really JR jericho u goldust hardy Harper. Neville etc etc,” Cody responded with the following:
“Darby, Luchasauras, Orange, Britt, Jungle, Private Party, etc etc
More unknown then known. Fresh is the term we like. Nice balance. Fresh approach.”
