This is the second time this year that WWE officials have resurrected an old WCW idea, as it was recently announced that Starrcade will be returning next month. Luckily War Games is a match that fans have been hoping to see for a long time, so there’s already a lot of hype behind the next NXT Takeover event.
When Starrcade was announced Cody Rhodes took to Twitter to comment on the return, and threw shade at WWE for not using the name while Dusty Rhodes was alive.
This time around it appears that Cody feels different about the situation, because he noted that he was contacted ahead of time.
I'm not mad. I was told. H worked for my Dad and then my Dad worked for him. They were friends. Care and effort will be placed into it.
