Cody Rhodes On A Potential Match With Kenny Omega

Cody Rhodes has been walking his own path in the wrestling business ever since he parted ways with WWE, and he’s found a lot of success with Ring of Honor.

Cody is the current Ring of Honor World Champion, and a member of The Bullet Club. For a while now fans have been talking about a possible match with fellow Bullet Club member Kenny Omega, but Cody recently told UPI that as of right now there are no plans in place for the match to happen.

“I think its probably something that if it was the right show, the right cause, it could happen. Right now no plans, but who knows. It’s definitely something that has been requested and you can feel it and if you can feel it in wrestling, it usually happens.”

Cody also hyped up Ring of Honor’s recently success with buy rates and merchandise numbers.

“Nothing has been more exciting for me knowing that Ring of Honor is experiencing their best crowds, their best buy rates and their best merchandise numbers while I’m the champion. I definitely don’t think it’s a direct correlation because I’m the champion but I do think it’s a small part of it and that makes me very proud.”
