Cody Rhodes On Why AEW Won’t Be Doing A Show During WrestleMania Weekend

All Elite Wrestling has made quite the impact on the industry over the last year or so, and they’ve run their fair share of shows so far.

The Royal Rumble airs live tonight on the WWE Network, and once the show comes to an end we’ll officially be on the road to WrestleMania.

It’s become typical for other wrestling companies to hold events in the same area during WrestleMania week, but it doesn’t look like AEW will be getting in on the trend this year.

A fan asked Cody Rhodes on Twitter if AEW would be holding an event during WrestleMania weekend, and Cody made it clear that he doesn’t want to piggyback when he posted the following:

WrestleMania 36 is set to take place from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL on Sunday, April 5.
