WrestleMania is right around the corner, and with WrestleMania season in full swing, fans have been talking about their favorite classic matches from the Show of Shows.
The anniversary of WrestleMania 13 took place on Friday, March 23, and one of the matches the pay-per-view is known for is the submission match which saw Steve Austin take on Bret Hart.
Some people consider the match to be the best match ever, and one fan asked Cody Rhodes if he agrees with that sentiment.
However, Cody had a different match in mind, as he named The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan as the best match ever.
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently spoke to Bleacher Report, and during the interview Ross had a lot of praise for current SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
He compared the SmackDown Live Superstar to another WWE Hall of Famer when he called her, “the Hulk Hogan of women’s wrestling.”
“Charlotte Flair is the Hulk Hogan of women’s wrestling. She’s the present and the future.”
Ross also talked about WrestleMania 34, and he noted that he has very high expectations for the WWE Championship match.
“They have incredible, incredible chemistry,” Ross said. “I have extremely high expectations for that. I hope people come out of that and say, ‘My God, I didn’t know Nakamura was that good. I didn’t know Nakamura is that physical.’ AJ Styles, in my view, is the top in-ring performer in the business right now.”
