All Elite Wrestling first launched in 2019 and MJF has been one of the stars to watch from the very beginning. Over the years MJF has worked his way up to one of the top spots in the company and he’s currently the AEW World Champion.
Despite all of the success that MJF has found with All Elite Wrestling, he’s been openly telling people that he will jump to WWE in 2024 if the company offers him more money.
Cody Rhodes knows what it’s like to jump from AEW to WWE as he returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 last year. During an interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Cody was asked if he would like to see MJF join WWE, and he said that he just wants the AEW World Champion to be happy.
“If it makes him happy, I want him to be happy. My career is my thing, I have a nice team of people around me, but it’s mine. One thing I’ve noticed about him, his family is very involved in what he does. I think he’s trying, as a young man, is becoming the patriarch of that. When that’s the case, you have to take care of all your people and do right by them. If it makes him happy to be there, great. If it makes him happy to be here, he just needs to be happy.”
