Cody Rhodes has come a long way ever since he joined the WWE main roster and shortly after he debuted he joined up with Hardcore Holly to form a tag team.
As a team Rhodes and Holly found success and they even managed to win the WWE World Tag Team Titles.
Cody recently held a Q&A session on Twitter, and when he was asked if Bob Holly was a good mentor he responded with the following:
“I would say so. Took me to the gym…a lot. Was protective of me in the ring too. Also, didn’t sugarcoat how green and unprepared I was. I needed that.”
Cody is obviously quite busy nowadays thanks to his duties as EVP of All Elite Wrestling.
He’s currently set to face off against Shawn Spears at AEW All Out on Saturday, August 31.
