Over the last few years a number of celebrities have made appearances on WWE programming. Earlier this year Travis Scott happened to be in the ring during John Cena’s heel turn and Scott slapped Cody Rhodes in the face. Following the show it was reported that Travis Scott had busted Cody’s eardrum.
Recently during an appearance on Hot Ones, Cody was asked if Travis Scott busted his eardrum and he confirmed the injury. Cody also went on to explain why he didn’t give Travis Scott a receipt for the slap.
“I wish I could tell you it wasn’t true. Because I wanted anyone else to have the credit for that. So you’ve got Rock in the ring, and you’ve got Cena in the ring. But my man Travis, who nothing but love for, he’s got a big old hand. So yes, it busted my eardrum.”
“If anyone ever wonders why I didn’t slap him vs. giving him a Cross Rhodes, he’s gracing us with his presence. In wrestling right now, we’re getting all these fun folks, but years ago it wasn’t that easy, and now here he comes. I want you to come back man. It’s hospitality. Our house is your house. You know, maybe do a little less, but our house is your house. So yeah, Travis did do that. That’s a fact.”
Earlier this year it was reported that Travis Scott was training in the ring. However, Travis has not appeared on WWE programming since WrestleMania 41, and it was recently reported that Travis Scott had a huge falling out with the company.
