Coach Announced For XFL New York Team

We’re less than a year away from the return of the XFL, and over the last few months the league has been making big announcements regarding head coaches for their teams. Today it was revealed that Kevin Gilbride will be the head coach and general manager for XFL’s New York team.

Kevin Gilbride has worked in various coaching positions for NFL teams such as the Jacksonville Jaguars, San Diego Chargers, Buffalo Bills and more.

He worked as the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants from 2006 to 2013 before announcing his retirement in 2014.

The XFL New York team will operate out of MetLife Stadium, the home of WrestleMania 35.
