CM Punk returned to WWE last month at Survivor Series and he got the wrestling world talking when he appeared after the men’s War Games match which main evented the show.
Since then CM Punk has appeared on Raw, SmackDown and a NXT premium live event. This week it was revealed on Monday Night Raw that CM Punk will be exclusive to the red brand and CM Punk also declared that he will be entering the men’s Royal Rumble match. CM Punk has yet to wrestle since returning to WWE, but it seems that he will be in action before he enters the Royal Rumble.
Today the Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA announced that CM Punk will be facing off against Dominik Mysterio at the WWE live event on Saturday, December 30 when the venue posted the following:
At this point in time it’s unclear if WWE has any plans for CM Punk to wrestle on TV prior to the December 30 live event, but now that Punk is exclusive to Raw it will be interesting to see how things play out for him in the weeks to come.
