It’s been years since fans have seen CM Punk appear on WWE programming as the former WWE Champion parted ways with WWE in 2014 and he’s mostly stayed away from wrestling since then.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that CAA, which represents both Punk and WWE, reached out to FOX officials about Punk possibly working as a co-host for the WWE studio show on FS1.
Technically CM Punk would be working for FOX, not WWE, but the impression is that WWE would hate the idea.
It’s being reported that this is an idea Punk’s agent pitched and it’s not clear if it’s even something Punk wanted.
Another person noted Punk could get a great deal if he played the game correctly, however there have been no negotiations in regards to Punk possibly taking the job.
