It’s been months since CM Punk has appeared on AEW programming, but in recent weeks talk of his big return has picked up in a major way. Recently AEW revealed that they will be launching a new show in June called Collision with the debut episode set to take place from the United Center in Chicago.
This week Tony Khan appeared on Dynamite to announce more information regarding the debut of AEW Collision on June 17th. Tony wasted no time as he said that as of June 17th AEW Collision will feature CM Punk. That was all he said before the cameras cut to the crowd and showed fans chanting “CM Punk” throughout the arena. However, it’s worth noting that the announcement seemed to get a mixed reaction from the live audience.

This will be the first time that CM Punk has appeared in All Elite Wrestling since the All Out pay-per-view in September of 2022. Punk defeated Jon Moxley in the main event, but suffered an injury during the match which has kept him out of action.
It appears that CM Punk is ready to return to the world of wrestling, so it will be interesting to see who he ends up working with when he returns to TV. Names like Chris Jericho and Samoa Joe have been rumored as potential opponents for Punk when he returns. Stay tuned for updates.
