For months the wrestling world was talking about AEW possibly launching a third show, and a few weeks ago Tony Khan confirmed that AEW will be adding Collision to its weekly schedule. The show will air on Saturdays and the debut episode is set to take place from the United Center in Chicago later this month.
Last week Tony Khan confirmed that CM Punk will be returning for Collision, and this week he officially announced the first main event for the show.
Tony Khan appeared on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite and he confirmed that Jay White, Juice Robinson and Samoa Joe will team up to face AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR & CM Punk in the main event.
AEW Collision will debut on TNT on Saturday, June 17. Stay tuned for more updates on the premiere of AEW Collision as they become available.
