CM Punk is always a controversial figure in the world of professional wrestling and talk about Punk has picked up recently as it’s been reported that he’s been preventing certain names from being backstage at AEW Collision, and that he got into a confrontation with Ryan Nemeth at Dynamite weeks ago.
According to reports CM Punk confronted Nemeth over a tweet where Nemeth referred to CM Punk as “Literally the softest man alive.” More recenrly Ryan Nemeth was sent home from last week’s episode of AEW Collision. Now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that CM Punk was “ranting like a mad man” during the aggressive confrontation.
“The story we were told was that Punk came up to Nemeth as he was against the wall in the locker room, brought up the tweet and said, “Do we have a problem or are we good or do we have to take it outside.” The version was, this was aggressive. One person called it ranting like a mad man and another, defending Punk, told us at the time that Punk was handling business like a man and that all was taken care of and things were settled.”
CM Punk reportedly views AEW Collision as his show and has veto power regarding who can and can’t be there.
