CM Punk was one of the biggest stars in WWE when he decided to walk away from the company in 2014, and in the months that followed Punk stayed very quiet. Eventually he announced that he had signed a deal to fight in UFC, but unfortunately for Punk his UFC debut didn’t go all that well for him.

Punk faced off against Mickey Gall, and even though Punk looked very confident before the match started, Gall made short work of the former WWE Champion. But CM Punk hasn’t given up on his dream of being a MMA fighter, and he is getting ready for his next fight.
Punk’s trainer Duke Roufus noted on Instagram that the former WWE star is back in #PunkCamp and he’s training for his next fight.
“Back in #PunkCamp with my man @cmpunk #cmpunk working hard & getting better every day. Working on his next Fight.”
When CM Punk might fight again remains to be seen, but back in September Roufus posted an update saying that Punk was waiting on confirmation for his next fight, so perhaps we’ll get an official update soon.
Of course of Punk ever does decide to wrestle again, ROH COO Joe Koff has said that the door is open for him to return to ROH.
