CM Punk Says He’s Shooting To Make His UFC Debut In December

Former WWE Champion turned UFC fighter, CM Punk was a part of the International Fight Week in Las Vegas this week where he was asked about his impending UFC debut.

Punk said he’s shooting for December to make his UFC debut but wants to make sure he’s as prepared as possible before he steps into the octagon.

“I say this all the time: I’d love to fight tomorrow. But I want to be as prepared as I possibly can be and I will be. I’m still shooting for December. It might be January, I’m not sure. But I’ll be ready when I fight.”

Ironically enough Punk mentioned that the wrestling aspect of his training has been the most challenging so far.

“Wrestling is probably my hardest day just because that’s the grind. You’re constantly in somebody’s face. You’re not trying to give up any ground. It’s no secret I didn’t wrestle in high school or anything like that. Everybody I train with did, so they have a lifetime of experience. But I love that.”

Sounds like it might be clobbering time in the octagon in a couple of months.
