CM Punk Says He Would’ve Beaten Steve Austin, Steve Austin Responds

CM Punk got the chance to work with some big names during his run as a WWE Superstar, but he always made it clear that he wanted a dream match with Steve Austin.

Back in 2013-14 rumors of a possible match started to make the rounds, but Steve Austin has remained adamant that he is retired from in ring competition.

A fan on Twitter recently asked Punk to share his thoughts on how the match would’ve gone, and Punk responded with, “Would’ve been short. GTS , 1 2 3.”

Steve Austin disagreed, as he responded by saying they would’ve gone 59:56 and Austin would have picked up the win with the Stunner.

“I see. @CMPunk You did say that. Damn. Complete delusion. I had us at a 60 minute time limit match at the Rosemont Horizon. Right there in Chicago. Chi Town. The Windy City. Helluva match. Caught you with a Stunner at 59:56. You did not kick out. Bottom line. 💀💀💀”
