– You can listen to Punk on CBS Sports radio here. During the interview, Punk was asked about Vince McMahon firing him on his wedding day.
“I’m over it,” Punk said. “I haven’t talked to him. He hasn’t reached out. I haven’t reached out either. At this point, I’m just moving on with my life.”
Punk was also asked how he’d react if Vince walked into the room right now.
“I don’t know,” Punk replied. “I know stuff like this is going to follow me for the rest of my life, and that’s what it is. I can’t hide from my past. I’m not ashamed of it. I’m not embarrassed. I’m proud of everything I’ve done. I think it’s a pretty well-known fact that I don’t have a lot of nice things to say. That’s why I try not to say much.”
