CM Punk has been in the professional wrestling business for a long time, and throughout the course of his career he’s faced off against some of the biggest names in the business. At WrestleMania 29, CM Punk faced off against The Undertaker in a match that many considered to be the best match on the card.

Recently CM Punk reflected on the match during an interview with Metro, and he noted that even though he had the flu his match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29 is probably the best match of his career.

“I had the flu, I had a fever, and I was just f****** angry. I said, ‘Well, this is the main event of WrestleMania. I know you guys are doing that, but that’s what this is.’ So nobody could tell me anything, I did what I wanted. That’s probably the best match in my career.”

“There was just an energy, and there was a buzz in the building. I think part of that is because I was just fuelled by anger at that point in my career. It got me out of bed.”

This year CM Punk will finally get to live out his dream as he’s currently set to main event WrestleMania 41 when he faces off against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match.
